GARY TOPOLOSKY graduated from Pittsburgh Central Catholic High School in 1977. He earned a B.S. in Chemistry and English from the University of Pittsburgh in 1981. He was granted a Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1984.

After sitting for the Pennsylvania State Bar, Gary joined the Webb Law Firm in Pittsburgh for two years. Gary sat for the Patent bar in 1985. He then worked for Alcoa, at its Technical Center in Westmoreland County, for the next 20 years. 

Gary is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar, the Allegheny and Washington County Bar Associations, and the Pittsburgh Intellectual Property Law Association (PIPLA).  He is admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania courts, the Federal Circuit Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (or CAFC).
